What about empowering children to write? And what if we explain them how to use social media (like steemit) to do so? I strongly believe that all a child needs to do things is motivation. Telling them that what they write can be read but thousands of people? Tell them, that if they write good stuff they can be rewarded? Thats what I told my 10 year old boy and this is (with a little bit of my help) what happened:

I think, we can not fight agaist the new social media/technology reality, but to support it in the right way.
