RE: The Life Of A Writer

Love your stuff, Rich. Maybe I should try this routine so I'm not behind this box 24/7.

I left the computer for a few minutes this morning to create a hand-drawn birthday card, and I thought my hand was going to detach at the wrist and explode.

You know that little callus you get on the first knuckle of the finger that supports your writing instrument?

I have one on the underside of my wrist from being a full-time mouse polisher. 😜

You should see my knuckle... There's a big knot on it- I call it my "writers knot" I guess it's RA It hurts like hell, but it's the only way I can write dialogue. I can write nonfiction on the computer fine, but when I write fiction I have to do it that way or my conversations come out stiff and sound unnatural.
