Libéré en 1914, Picaud change de nom, et monte sur Paris, où il passe 10 années. Il lance enfin son assaut après avoir méticuleusement préparé sa vengeance, dans le but de ruiner et de tuer ses oppresseurs. Il assassine d'abord Chaubard (ou le fait assassiner), il fait marier la fille de Loupian à un criminel, qu'il fait arrêter ensuite et pousse le fils de son ancien ami à voler des bijoux, afin qu'il se fasse arrêter. Il empoisonne Solari et fait brûler le restaurant de Loupian, qui se retrouve ruiné et sans famille. Picaud met ensuite fin au calvaire de Loupian en l'assassinant.
The story is known through the story of Allut, also former friend of Picaud. In the midst of the attempt of the three friends to dismiss Picaud, Allut feared for his life and would have assassinated Picaud after his revenge was consummated, and will confess it only on his deathbed. This is one of the most incredible stories of revenge in France, and we understand that a book was dedicated to him!

The Shah replied by cutting off the ambassadors' heads and sending the decapitated interpreter back to his master's house.

When he learned the tragic destiny of his ambassadors, Ghenghis climbed into the mountains calmly to reflect on the situation. After a few days of meditation, he came back refreshed, and decided to offer the Khwarezmid a visit of the kind we appreciate only when they come to an end.
Ghenghis deployed his four war dogs, including the famous Subutai , one of the greatest generals who lived. After a siege of more than 6 months on the citadel of Inalchuq, and thanks to the new technologies resulting from his Chinese conquests, Ghenghis obtained repair by shaving the city and by killing all these inhabitants, Inalchuq included. Ghenghis then attacked the Shah, with 200,000 warriors against an army 5 times greater in number, which he also destroyed. He completely shaved, on this occasion, the city of birth of the Shah. According to legend, the Mongol warriors killed all men, women and children, and even cats and dogs were spared. The entire Khwarezmid empire was razed, and those 4 million people killed. The Shah fled to a small Caspian island where he died alone, ruined.
This confirms the famous saying " Do not blame the messenger ". Especially when you are dealing with Ghenghis Khan.
The revenge of the Killdozer
The latter is more recent and surprising, since the story takes place in 2004. In the 1990s, Marvin Heemeyer , a small owner of a chain of stores, former Air Force, was known to his friends as a person nice, happy. However, all agreed that it was better to be his friend than his enemy.
What the mayor and the board of directors of Granby (Colorado) chose, the city in which Heemeyer owned one of his stores.
