Parrot story

in #writing4 days ago

A merchant in Iran had an Indian parrot. The parrot was Jupiter in knowledge, Kalidas in taste, Rudolf Valentina in beauty, and Max Muller in scholarship. Whenever the merchant found some free time, he would have long conversations and discussions with the parrot.

Suddenly one day the merchant received news that carpets were being sold in India at a great price. He immediately made up his mind to go to India to sell carpets. He immediately got the equipment. Finally, he asked his cousin, for whom would he bring a gift from Hindustan. The parrot was not left out either. He also asked him if he wanted a gift. The parrot said, 'Sir, although I have been with you for many years, what bird does not want to be released from its cage? If you meet any of my fellow countrymen in India, will you explain my condition to me and find out the way to get rid of me? And when you can also make arrangements against me, then it is not wrong to ask for this gift.’

Sadagar came to India and earned a fair amount of money, all the gifts were bought, but he forgot about the gift of the parrot. Suddenly, he remembered that one day, while passing through the forest, he saw a flock of parrots. He immediately looked at them and said, ‘One of your brothers is spending his days locked up in a cage in Iran. Can you tell me the way to get rid of him?’ None of the birds paid any attention to Sadagar’s words. Only the bad news struck such a blow to the chest of a falcon that it immediately died and fell to the ground. Sadagar felt great regret for killing an innocent bird with such unfounded bad news. He decided not to do this foolish thing twice. Ganda mentally slapped himself on the cheek twice.
