The Person/Ego is only so capable because it has no resistance in being whatever it needs to be, to keep you from your truth.
We are all infected by the same Person, who in his chameleon disguise appears as whatever he needs to make us believe we are it.
He will give us the illusion of graspable individuality, when in fact it isn't at all. For when he gets in and convinces us of his being me. We have become infected by the very same parasite that resides in every individual.
He can be the one with confidence and firm belief in himself, or he can be the uncertain one with no belief in himself. He can be the one who likes chocolate, and in another being he hates it.
The Ego is enlightened and a divine being. And his food is beings with a mind to infect :P He is only so successful for he molds himself like water to whatever it is you believe or don't believe to engender a successful infection.
It is by giving up what has seemed to be our individuality for so long, that we only truly become individual.
We become mold-less and we become formless at that point, with nothing that the tick can latch onto.
