    Thanks so much for the kind words Mark! I'm hoping to publish several more like this.

    I'm currently working on a novel, and short stories help me shake the cobwebs out when I feel like I've become too close to the book to be objective about it anymore.

      Good to hear it. I read a LOT of short stories on Steemit and more often than not i get a few hundred words in and get bored. Its testament to you that I read this all the way though and it's one of the longer short stories that has popped up.

      Cant wait to see what else you produce.

      Do you recommend any other writers on here? I'm fairly new to the platform and would love to find more cool people to follow.

        As @markangeltrueman (my Master) said above, this is some quality work. Needs more synthetic organisms in it of course; that's what my taste in fiction is most satisfied by. I guess you can't have everything though :).
