I came across @goodguygreg's St. Patrick's Day Contest 2: Poetry! and was inspired to write this little poem, which is a true story from my own life:
My baby was born ten days late;
St. Patrick's Day was her birth date.
With Irish red hair
And a definite flair,
She really was worth the long wait!
You should write a limerick for the contest, too!!
