What is the "Line 3"-protests about?
Line 3 is an oil pipeline that the oil companies wish to replace. Instead of following the old line they wish to take a new route, forcing more land owners to bow to imminent domain and crossing more bodies of water along the way.
The activists would like to keep oil OUT of Duluth and the Twin Ports, but that's exactly where the companies want it to go. Right to the damned lake.

Definitely leaks, it remains to be seen if it was contained. :/
That's a lot of oil :-(
