I finally took a shower again. That's the first time in what, a month? Certainly an interesting experiment.
I found that as long as you don't do something to add even more stink, like roll around in a swamp or poop your pants, you tend to get to a certain level of stink and then stay there.
As long as you only wear your underwear around the house and only wear your regular clothes when you go out somewhere, people don't even really notice the stink. Of course this method only works if you have a hairstyle that doesn't mind not being washed.
Unfortunately, it seems like something in my shower has gone a bit off. When I pull up on the little plunger that switches the water from coming out of the main tub faucet to coming out of the shower head, some water still runs out of the tub faucet. Yet one more thing to fix in the house, and yet another thing that makes me think if maybe renting, in some circumstances, wouldn't be so bad.
