Elimination Chamber match card and predictions.

in #wwe6 years ago

The ROAD TO WRESTLEMANIA! continues this Sunday with a stop at Las Vegas. The Elimination Chamber ppv is looking to be a small card, but potentially very heavy on the action and story. For the first time ever there will be 7 men locked inside the chamber, vying for a chance to Challenge the Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar at Wrestlmania for the Universal Championship. More history will be made as again, for the first time ever, the women of WWE Raw enter into their own chamber match. This one will include the current Raw Women's Champion, Alexa Bliss.

Women's Elimination Chamber Championship Match. Alexa Bliss(c) vs. Mickey James vs. Mandy Rose vs. Sonya Deville vs. Bayley vs. Sasha Banks

History is again being made for women and wrestling as the Goddess Alexa Bliss is forced to defend her championship against 5 other women in one of the most brutal matches the WWE has to offer. The friends Bayley and Sasha, and the Absolution members Rose and Deville both have allianced. The build for this match has shown Alexa save Mickey James from absolution in hopes of making a friend, and then Micky return the favor on the go home episodes of Raw. This is essentially a faction filled elimination chamber, adding even more to the story.

Winner? Its hard to say in such a match, of course I want the newest members of Raw, Rose and Deville to have a good showing, but they are too green to win such a match but by fluke. The experience of James, the never say die attitude of Bayley, the drive to prove better than everyone else of Banks, and the brilliance of Bliss give them all an up in this harsh of a match. That said there can only be one winner, and I think that winner will be Alexa Bliss.

Yes, I give this match the Five Feet of Fury herself as she is smart enough and devious enough to take advantages where others see none. And I don't see her dropping the belt before Mania.

Bray Wyatt vs. "Woken" Matt Hardy. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

This never ending laugh off between 2 of the most unique characters has surprisingly, been an absolute bore. Doing nothing but on screen promos, some interference in matches, and laughing like they OD'd on NOS has been a slow build. But I am hoping that the "Woken" universe will soon reveal itself to be truly BROKEN! Letting Brilliance shine upon the plane know as W. W. E!

Winner? Matt Hardy. He needs to win in order to keep this match going, because no matter how hard we try, we just can't forget Raw25. I also predict this will go all the way to Mania.

The undefeated Empress of Tomorrow, Asuka vs. the Unstoppable Force, Nia Jax.

Asuka, unbeaten for over 2 years and over 250 matches against the best in the world faces the women's division's attempt at Braun Strowman. However, despite what WWE would have you believe, Nia Jax is little threat to Asuka, who has already beaten her 8 times out of 8.

Winner? Asuka. Nobody is read for Asuka!

Tag-team Championship Match, The Bar(c) vs. Titus Worldwide.

The Bar, despite being among the absolutely most dominant tag teams in history The Bar have recently lost 3 out of 4 matches against Titus Worldwide, resulting in this match. The strength and technical ability of The Bar is countered by the strength and agility of Titus Worldwide. Of course we can't forget to mention how Titus Worldwide has the advantage of an exquisite statistician in Dana Brooke. This is a hard one, but I believe The Bar are too smart and capable to let themselves be beaten yet again by the same team.

Winners? The Bar!

Men's 7 man Elimination Chamber for the right to face Brock Lesnar at Wrestlmania. Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins vs. Braun Strowman vs. The Miz vs. Finn Balor vs. John Cena vs. Elias.

With 7 men, three men starting, and an amazing line up of Raw's top single stars this match promises to be absolutely destructive. Elias has won the right to go in last, but pods will save no man when Braun Strowman is involved. Sure to go on last due to what will probably be irreparable damage to the chamber itself at the hands of the Monster Among Men this should be a main event truly worthy of a ppv on the Road to Mania. The Miz, having lost a match against Cena to decide who goes in first, will be doing just that. He will be joined by 2 other super stars for the first time ever and will have to survive the like of "big match John," the 2 hour man Seth Rollins, the "big dog" Roman Reigns, as well as the aforementioned "Abominable Strowman."

Winner? This is a toss up, with everyone going in having a certain believability about them. The story plays out for Roman to be the winner to finally have his 1-on-1 against Lesnar, but who could deny Seth Freaking Rollins his due? Who could ignore the presence of a Demon King, the Awesome One, or a Monster? Who can forget the advantage Elias has and his willingness to play dirty? In the end though I have to give this one to Reigns. He has something to prove, he wants Lesnar even more than he wants the title, and this is his chance to get both.
