XVG, Verge, is obviously gaining momentum as we speak. During the last 24 hours, the ‘most anonymous’ cryptocurrency has issued a new and improved paper wallet, the wraith protocol was added to Github (almost finished) and ATOMIC has been announced.
What is ATOMIC? Well, basically altcoin traders need localised exchanges to be able to do some trading. That’s a hassle and costs time and money. Lately, some exchanges got hacked and people turn to paper wallets. Most crypto lovers don’t like centralised stuff anyway:)
ATOMIC lets users send and exchange altcoin and Bitcoin in another way, Verge will be implementing BIP65 in the upcoming Core Release, which allows for so called Atomic Swaps. This enables direct peer-to-peer trading across separate blockchains with BIP65 support, eliminating a third trusted party. This is amazing, and a true step forward!
