FFF [Fun, Fulfilling Friday]

in #yardday • 7 days ago

Our Yongi had fun in the yard yesterday afternoon. It got warmer, so I decided to start clearing the intruders (weeds/grass) in our little garden. He was watching from the door at first, then I let him out (feeling guilty for not giving him enough time outdoors).😊

Oh boy, he was so pleased!

I left him be and went on with my task, finding brown fungi at the base of one of the plants.

After a while, I turned around and found him sniffing the grass, then he hopped into the plant bed.

The little cutie is no longer camera shy. Or maybe he was just in the mood to be photographed😅

"Can you spot something on my mouth face?" he seems to be saying in this shot. At least he didn't bury his face in the dirt.

He stayed close, and didn't attempt to leave the yard. He could have easily ran to the street like he often did in DD when I let him play outside.

I put my phone away, as there were still plenty of weeds to clear. When I looked around to check on him again, he was near the edge of the yard, near the citrus tree, munching on something, so I moved closer. It turned out he was eating some grass!

Thought of stopping him, but I remembered he hadn't pooped since morning. According to my previous readings, it is normal for our four-legged babies (dogs) to munch on grass. It is their instinctual response to intentionally add a quick boost of roughage (fiber) to their digestive tract.

Smart boy, eh!😁

"Of course, Mom!" he heard my thoughts (maybe). He was grinning widely, obviously delighted.

Guess he was satisfied; he curled up on the concrete ground. Perhaps he instinctively knew (too) that his bath was coming, and he took the chance to rest while I finished off weeding.

Friday turned out to be a fulfilling day for me, and a fun one for my little guy.

Dad? He closed his lil shop and enjoyed a long afternoon nap. I'm really glad he learned to pause and give his mind and body time to rest.

This sounds like a fun friday indeed! It's so nice to turn simple everyday moments into something worth remembering. It’s a reminder that we don’t always need big adventures to have a fulfilling day, sometimes good food, a little fun, and time with the people (and fur babies) we love are more than enough.

Yongi looks so happy enjoying the warm afternoon! 😊 It’s lovely to see him having some outdoor fun while you’re taking care of the garden. ❤️

He sure was. He loves it, but I rarely allow him outside, and cleaning the yard was his good chance to have his own fun😊

The yard weeds are waving and time to clear them out!! 😅😅

Yongi: Mommy I'm a smart boy!! 😁

Haha, true that! Still messy out there, but at least I have pulled out the tall ones. As to the lil one, he's snoozing right now 😅

It is always a fulfilling friday read from you. You make ordinary days look so peaceful and full of life. The way you celebrate small moments with family and farm always inspires me. Happy FFF to you. We appreciate your good work here

Aww, thank you. That is so kind. Since I stopped writing about how my days go on paper, Hive has become sort of my diary. 😊

Lil Guy seems to be have fund and he is happy and I can say that just by seeing his face. His smile seems to be the naughty one.
