Enjoyed the poem in today's message, it really resonates with me. It's been 5 months since I had my last full-time gig and the contract work has been few and far between. I keep holding out hope that I'll be able to work for a company where our values align, but I'm getting more worried every day that I am running short on time and options.
I'm glad to hear it! You're not alone my friend, I have been in a similar space. As you know I quit my job a couple months ago, it was fun while I had a gig, but once the gig ran out, the worries came in. I realized while in meditation that I couldn't do anything about my situation from that state of mind. so I changed my sleeping schedule, allowing me to spend more time awake while others sleep, more time with my thoughts, and began to stop questioning and just started following the impulses. Though the outside factors that prompted the worry still exist presently, with each passing day I see things differently, I see opportunity, I see things to be grateful,. I may not know where I'm going, but at least now I am in a place where I can enjoy and appreciate the journey.
