Deep Relief caught our attention quite early in our exploration of Young living, My Wife and I have suffered from tension in the shoulders and neck for many years, only occasionally seeing a massage therapist to try and get some relief from these aches and pains was not cutting it (and the price associated to these visits was not a easy pill to swallow). A key ingredient in Deep Relief is Peppermint Essential Oil (Mentha piperita) it's one of the most highly regarded herbs for supporting normal digestion, including promoting healthy intestinal function and gastrointestinal system comforts as well as helping ward of mental fatigue.
Another active components that stand out for us are Copaiba Oil (Copaifera reticulata) supports the body's natural response to injury or irritation and Wintergreen Essential Oil (Gaultheria procumbens) both are highly beneficial in massage for soothing tension and muscles aches after strenuous exercising.
These oils combined make a powerful relaxing, pain relieving oil that has so many uses, from topical application to diffusing giving an energizing, cooling feeling that is a great for home, work or the gym. This oil is also great combined with tranquil roll-on, or pan-away Essential oil blend.
When applying this oil topically it is recommended to follow the instructions on the label, by diluting this oil with a carrier oil such as our V-6 enhanced vegetable oil complex. It is recommend to use 15-30 drops of the deep relief in 30-60mls of the v-6, remember to shake well.
Deep Relief is also recognized by Health Canada as a Natural Health Product (NHP) which Young Living was the first major therapeutic oil manufacture to be given this distinction.
The discovery of this oil helped propel us on our current path and we will be forever grateful to have such a versatile tool in our lives.
