When I was 16 I filed for emancipation from my parents because they were not parents. My father was an alcoholic and drug addict, cocaine was his poison and of course my mother wasn't far behind his habits. His favorite past time was breaking my bones and or knocking me out with his fist. But that's for my book which will be coming out soon. I filed and never looked back except to help my 3 sisters when I could. I went to school 42 miles from home with only a bus pass and my will to survive. Now I see today's youth, I watched 3 girls which are my girlfriends kids. The oldest I helped graduate a trade tech and she had a promising chance to have a career in business management. Unfortunately the world has it's way of slapping you in the face when you least expect it, She lost her job and has been unemployed for the last year almost. Now for her two sisters, complete waste of life and not a care in the world. They don't work and they don't care to even attempt to find a job. They are literally living off the money of their Grandmother, their mother who has been unemployed for about 3 years now and myself for the last 13 years and to top it off they are drug addicts literally only looking for a fix day and night. Now here is where it becomes even more side ways then I've explained already. I asked them both what are you going to do when your grandmother passes away? She's in her 80's and her health hasn't been that great lately. They still didn't care they just said she's leaving us the house... How will you pay for the taxes every year without job's , I asked. Their response, you'll pay for them or my mom... I laughed hysterically as I walked away nearly falling over my own feet. Now I've seen lazy and I've seen ignorant before but this is on a whole new level of powerful stupid. I would love to hear from anyone that has dealt with powerful stupid.
