IYDC Accra 2018 indeed was a dream come true, very educative, interesting and one of a kind. Honestly I must give kudos to the brain behind this wonderful event.

The International Youth Diplomacy Conference (iYDC) is an event held annually by IFEDGLOBAL, which welcomes young diverse groups of Vocal and intelligent influencers from all over Africa to Accra Ghana. imageKing Richard Oheneba from Ghana and Toure Mamadou Reyhanath from Togo.

This event typically engages with about 1000 potential young leaders aspiring to change the world.
IYDC started some years ago because there were too many important issues surrounding Africa, as a whole, which were being overlooked or neglectively abandoned. IFEDGLOBAL through the leadership of Mr Tutu Achampong decided that the best way to solve African problem is to create a platform, whereby, potential young leaders from across Africa and beyond, can meet to discuss pertinent issues of global interest and honestly this year's event was bigger and better than the previous ones.

Accra welcomes delegates from all over Africa, Ghana, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Togo, Mali, Benin, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Somalia, Botswana, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Namibia, Uganda, South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Senegal, Guinea-Bissau, Zimbabwe, and Gambia.

There was Elders forum in the evening of the arrival.
The second day started with Aerobic in one of the University of Ghana basketball pitch, after which breakfast was served and honourable delegates get ready to start the second face of day two activities which was open plenary at the Law Faculty and it lasted for hours. image

There was also a committee sections where delegates presented their position papers base on the topic giving to them to be discussed.

On the third day, delegates started the days activities with Aerobic as well followed by wonderful breakfast after which they proceed to Ambassadorial visit.image
In the evening of same day there was a cultural and exhibition night ( global village night)where delegates represented their countries by showing off their rich cultural heritage and traditions, franklin speaking it was a wonderful experience, a lots of fun but as one of the Nigerian comedian, Ayo, said "whatever that happens in Accra stay's in Accra" well, it's okey but then it was fun and wonderful outing as well. image La'Niyi Africa from Nigeria and Xabiso from South Africa.

On the fourth day, delegates travelled outside of Accra to Akosombo in the Eastern region and later proceed to Volta Escape in the Volta region on a tour experience.
Delegates later returned back to Accra to get ready for the award and dinner night. image adventure beyond Accra with Teta Yah Dolo from Liberia.

During the event, I mate wonderful people from different countries in Africa, I mate the president of the General Assembly, Mr Afolabi Williams from Nigeria, Xabiso from South Africa, Bass Sheku Kamara, Kandeh Baba Conteh and Mohammed from Sierra Leone, Sharifah Baluka from Uganda, Awa from Senegal, Victoria Oballah from Kenya and Aanuoluwa from Nigeria.
My wonderful Liberian friends, Lisa Wiltoria Sheldon and Teta Yah Dolo, these two lovely ladies are not just a friend but there are more to it, I called them Destiny and I called them Helper . These and so many other Delegates from several other countries are the great leaders of today and I am seeing Africa taking over the world in a short possible time.
Honestly there are a lots of opportunities to tap in such as business and investment connection, innovative ideas and even that of "marriage " Yes it's possible.
Looking forward to seeing you guys during iYDC 2019 event.
1 love Africa.
