For some unknown reason I am unable to view Dtube video. I am not alone, and know others in the same boat. I would sure love to be able to view content from folks that I currently cannot. I hope your app solves this problem for me.
It's centralized and doesn't even allow everyone. How can it compete with youTube? YOuTube has darpa money.... So it can use AWS. DO you have darpa money is my point. Peer to peer is a proven technology , it's more efficient , it's physics. DLive blew 50k a month on AWS hosting, it had a lot of users... HTTP is old , fading technology.
Youtube, Facebook, Twitter and so on... these business are designed to provide our personal data, exploit the talents of the people for their own benefit and spread to the mainstream fake news and ideas.
I don't understand how the people keeps supporting them even with the scandals are being unveiled about their actions. We have now alternatives, let's make them viable and inform to the people that we can be free through them.
It's because of this why I think Steem is revolutionary, we need to be conscious of this.
If we all just put that vote on the channels of steemians they get to trending how much users are there daily? Let them watch that YouTube vid even if it's on 2x speed it will get that view but most of all if it comes from outside like this platform YouTube gonna love you for getting more traffic from the outside.
It's my opinion. Get everybody view and vote that crypto video. 😀
Unfortunately many don't care. YouTube is the trend. Their favourite celebs use it, there favourite shows are on it, they know a couple of people who made it big there from nothing, so they can dream too. I recently wrote an article about frictional stories and how most people will rather hold on to them than accept the facts. We need our frictional story, something we all can believe and work towards. It doesn't have to be real or factual. It just has to be believable

They are constantly trying to get closer to mainstream tv shows. I think it’s a dumb strategy. But it’s their choice, we can’t say they are evil. Favoritism is not evil, a company is owned by people, and they can choose what they want to do.
In fact they are not evil, they are THE EVIL. So trying to manipulate the common opinion and obscuring channels that talk out of the lines is ok for you? So just to do business one is allowed to do whatever he wants? I don't think so buddy

I wrote a post last year about this when i started to notice that almost all my trending tab changed over in only 2-3 months from 50-70% independents to about 1%-5%.. Interesting stats thanks for the share.
3speak is a perfect market fit for these conditions. There are more deplatformed creators than every before, and now they have a home.

That's nuts. I thought about this the other day, but it would be amazing if someone created an open source trending algorithm.
