Russia! :'D The alibi of the unimaginative. Anyway, your proof? Wikileaks is the only journalist platform that has NEVER retracted any publication. You can research for us if that's true. However, since you don't seem to know how to research, follow them on Twitter to find out what they're STILL doing ;') easy-peasy.
That is despite their founder/leader being imprisoned and tortured.
In that regard, prove to us that he's not being tortured, and that the current treatment of Assange is NOT illegal. Prove those things to to us ;')

//
Assange DID NOT hack the U.S. His sources may have.
What about the Afghanistan papers? Why isn't anyone in the Washington Post being charged with espionage?
How about the Panama Papers, anyone charged for that?
What about all the international illegal escapades of the U.S.?
They have military bases around the world. Are those legal?
Violating international airspace and bombing countries without Congress' approval? Legal?
Bombing countries at all that has NOT threatened the U.S. security? Legal?
Funding, training, supporting terrorists and rebels for proxy wars? Legal?
Military testing bioweapons on American citizens! Legal?

Same intro as this for Edward Snowden:
