@lexiconical sometimes it can seem silly, but there is still a solid goal for the community. Also witnessing is just to help the blockchain and this platform ultimately. A lot of witnesses don't even have a voice at all doesn't mean that they're not helping all of us in a huge way. We're trying to create more of friendly/fun space where everyone is equal. We're here to help each other grow, by doing so we all grow together. We also want engaging content even if it's silly. You can have humor on the road of your cause.
There's a lot more requirements for a witness, such as dedication to the supporting the block chain. They have to pay for a server or acquire one out of pocket. They would have to setup and install the witness on their server and protect it. They have to make sure it's all active. Then they have to find some way to help the community so others can vote for their purpose. They also have to maintain their witness so it stays online. The other witnesses watch them closely so no one misses a block.
There's plenty of research you can do @lexiconical to see why we're even all here and how some our just trying to enjoy their time on this platform while helping each other grow.

@steevc in the universe of #yunk everyone is equal! We're all old and we're all young at the same time. We're everything and nothing all in one. In yunk there is no alpha or omega so therefor we have no observable time which eliminates age. Some people will understand it right away and some will just disregard it. It's not for everyone that's for sure. yunk is not trying to convince you of anything. That's not it's purpose. It's purpose to is be whatever you want it to be. That thing that was lying deep inside of you dormant waiting to come out with excitement and joy. You have your own yunk, you just don't know it. :)

Any actual info or data of any kind whatsoever that makes sense in the English language? Or just a meme-witness?
@lexiconical I just recently commented on your post above. If you want a witnesses statement or a certain witness campaign they have to tie one to their witness setup titled "witness url."

Also there's many people on here that are from different countries where English is not their first language. The more they get to post or comment the more they get to practice. I would suggest to just bare with us a little on this part, because we want to be inviting to all.
The whole meme-witness things is just a way of having fun. There's a seriousness to being a witness and I don't think anyone that is not truly committed to their community would even do it. I truly believe it's perfectly okay to have fun here. We're just trying to enjoy ourselves while helping each other while growing the community.
