Zen Colouring Contest #37 - Winners Showcase!

Hello Everybody!

The time you have all been waiting for has arrived! Week 33 of #zencolouringcontest ended yesterday, and now to announce the winners!

So without further ado, let's get on with the show(case)!

Firstly, the Community Favourite. This week we had a tie among the votes, so there are 2 winners of this position!

In 3rd place:

I picked this one because I love the striking colour scheme, the bright colours highlight the design nicely. I also really like the scale-like texture added to the snakes. The geometric background texture is a great addition, I like how it changes colour within the transparent sections of the design!

In 2nd place:

@marblely

I chose this one because of the detail and shading added by the use of pencil colouring. The pale and dark colours contrast the green of the design very well. The two-toned shading of the snakes is very eye catching with the blue and purple strands behind. The extra detailing in the background of the design is a very nice touch!

And in 1st place:

@elcorrecamino

I picked this as the winner because the vibrant palette of colours is stunning. The textures and shading adds a lot of depth to the shapes and snakes. I like that the center pattern has been made to resemble a flower. The additional symbols and tribal-style serpent figures that spiral out of the design is very clever, it works very well with the shape and theme of the stencil. The swirls of rainbow colour in the background are a nice touch too!
