Zoom.earth is a very good map website/app. You can see images in near real-time, with true-color images of the world, such as cities, forests, nature, deserts, rivers, oceans, clouds. And when the day is cloudy in a region you want to see, you can use the HD satellite from other recorded days to see what it's like. If you want to see the colors of rivers and seas, you can see the outline in the ocean, imagining it to be the place you want to see. The color is usually gray in the waters on cloudy days, and you can see the fainter outline at night to imagine. The near-real-time images are also not very sharp, but they are quite useful and you can see the shape of a place. If you want, you can use the other Google Earth app as a complement to locate places precisely. Use both apps in split screen on your smartphone and locate with the same zoom size and with fingers, for example. I am not the websites mentioned and have no affiliation, I am just sharing the map apps and how to use them in a practical way.
