The Gayo Highlands are located in Bener Meriah, Aceh Tengah, and Gayo Lues of Aceh Province. Three Districts are one of the coffee producing regions in Indonesia. The most famous type of coffee from GayoHighland is Arabica Coffee. It has become a commodity exported to foreign countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, the United States, and some countries in Europe.
There are 2 (two) kind of Gayo Arabica Coffee which exported abroad consisting of Coffee Beans and Coffee Powder.
- Coffee beans are picked by the farmers by the machine and then dried.
- Coffee powder is processed from coffee beans into 2 products; coffee beans are roasted and still in the shape of beans. Whereas Coffee Powder is processed by roasting and then processed into coffee powder.
Today I would like to show you some pictures of the Gayo Arabica Coffee Powder that was brought by my friends from Pondok Baru, Bener Meriah. They visited me in Bireuen yesterday.
