Before you start inquiring if I'm in Europe, the answer is a big NO!; you got it wrong fella, I'm still in Cebu and probably not going anywhere at least in the next two months. Although my back account could sustain a month in Europe, this can wait for another time. A lot is going on lately and right now my priority is healing and coming out stronger from the battle I'm facing. I feel like the last few weeks have been a lot to take in and writing all that's within me might take some time. I want to share the feel-good things in my life for now.

Last night was our monthly catch-up schedule with my closest friends. With the news that shocked me and those closest to me about a week ago, I could've easily felt hopeless but I believe you'll only die the moment you stop living. So here I am living my life the way I'm supposed to. With our busy schedules, I'm glad we could still find that one night to exchange stories and life updates. Although we converse online occasionally, we reserve the details for our meet-up.

It was Jelo's turn to decide where we're eating; he chose Europe, a relatively new restaurant in Cebu City. Actually, it wasn't his first choice but the initial place he had in mind was fully booked. Europe's new and we vowed to try anything new in the city. We ordered food for sharing. We had Pizza Espanya (Php 595/$10.63), Beef Tartare (Php 485/$8.66), Rack of Lamb (Php 1,599/$28.55), Tuscan Half Roasted Chicken (Php 645/$11.52) and Confit Pork Belly (Php 595/$10.63). Europe for a restaurant name might sound a little fancy but I hate to say that we had a disappointing experience. They were undermanned; while it's no big deal to ask for a hot sauce for the pizza, a glass of water, etc. requests arrived late. I've been to various restaurants with better service so I know what's the minimum expectation for places like this. I hope the food will make up for the bad service but it didn't. The food was good don't get me wrong but it's not necessarily excellent.

Nonetheless, all I care about is my company. It was a memorable night with my friends wherever life takes us!

The food you eat looks super, I'm sorry for your problems but I hope you can take soon a Europe trip and if you come to Italy don't forget to visit Florence so I will take you to the best restaurants!!💯

Hi @noemilunastorta! That's so sweet of you! I wonder how good real Italian food is! I'm fan of it; it would be nice to visit soon! One day. :)

Hey @patsitivity nights out with friends are always great. It's a bummer that the service at "Europe" was slow and the food wasn't amazing, but being with friends makes up for it. I hope your next dining experience is better. Take care and keep writing!
