Splinterlands: New Chest Additions & EOS

I finished the season with 42k Glints, and I received twice as many as a reward for finishing. Before the season ended, I had already discussed how I wanted to spend the glints. Despite the announcement of new updates to Gwen's store.

I wanted to buy at least one legendary draw, several rare draws, and some common draws, then gamble with the newly added major and minor chests in the reward section, which is how I eventually spent my Glints.

Splinterlands has reinstated chests due to popular demand from players and investors, and to be honest, they should not have been removed in the first place. It was one of those calls that I believe Splinterlands made incorrectly, and bringing it back means that they will need to vet a lot of the decisions they will be making in order to avoid making them and then digressing and looking for ways to make changes again.

I believe it is one of those times when people question changes, and I believe that the reward system should have remained unchanged, with the exception of SPS, for which I understand why it was removed.

However, I did not read the announcement post; instead, I arrived early at Gwen's shop after the season ended, allowing me to make my purchase before it became overcrowded. So I purchased my intended legendary draw, but unfortunately, I received the AVA the Undaunted, which I already own at Gold level 3. At this point, it would be completely pointless to burn it.

However, I see no point in actually increasing the level because I already have a Gold version with even higher value. I burned two copies about a month ago, and this is one of those cards that I no longer need and may have to burn.

I heavily shopped the rare draws and purchased over 90 of them; I should have channeled the Glint I used to purchase the legendary and probably maxed out a few of my soulbound cards; however, these things are a gamble, and my ability to obtain legendary rewards cards after the changes has been reduced by more than 80%.

However, I have been able to level up some of my soulbound cards, and in two or three seasons, I may have maxed out the majority of them. My war pegasus is currently at level 4, with only two levels remaining to reach its full potential. Most of my common cards are at levels 6, 7, and 8, with some approaching 9, and I believe I will be able to max them all out in 3 to 4 seasons as well.

I got some merits from the shop and also bought two gladius cards, as you can see, nothing exciting; I have not pulled a legendary in over 6 months.

So, with my remaining Glints, I gambled on the minor and major chests, and unfortunately, I did not get anything decent; in fact, they were the worst of the rewards.

However, this is how chests are. You never know what you are getting, which is why I believe people should only use miscellaneous glints to shop for them. What I mean is to use the remaining Glints to buy them after you have met your shopping needs for the season.

However, if you are a high glint earner, perhaps earning hundreds of thousands of Glints per season, there is no reason not to gamble with them, as some people have received some really good legendary cards as well as a beta pack. Hopefully, I will be able to hit 90 to 100k glint by the end of the season.

You are doing well, my brother. I believe it is not right for me to be buying chests and gamble for jackpot now because I have a lot of card that i want to Max, I should be able to gamble if I max some of my cards.

You're right, when you immediately max most of these cards then you can gamble. I thought I was the only one who wanted to do it this way.

I'm like the new chests system much more than the draws. You can get all sorts of goodies, I saw someone pull a beta pack out of one of their chests!

How have you been? I've been a little sore the last couple of days, kept me off of the computer for the most part!

Well I think the element of surprise is back in the game. If they can probably overhaul 70% of the shop with that element of luck again, people will begin to like it again.

How have you been? I've been a little sore the last couple of days, kept me off of the computer for the most part!

I'm mostly just taking my medications and worrying about my health. Quick recovery to you as well.

The chests are all based on luck. It's too bad that you didn't get what you needed and you did great in the season. I got a bit lucky this time around as I hit a jackpot in the new loot chests.

Yeah, I saw the hit for you, congratulations as well. I think it's important to have one or two surprises like this going forward, it brings excitement to the game.

42K glints wow, I'm glad what they removed is back... It's almost like Apple tech company removing their features and bringing the same thing back after years😁😂

Congratulations on all your accomplishments men... Keep going, we're learning a lot from you

Glints don't have dollar value at all, so there are people earning over 200k. It's just to use and buy playable assets in the game.

Wow imagine if it did bro, like it would be finished 😂😂😂😂 nice work bruv
