Hello my fellow Hivers,

Ready to take a peek at all of the exciting nerdy nonsense making its way to comic shop racks this week??? I’m talking about kick ass Comics and Toys!!! I’m your host @blewitt, and I thank you for joining me on this virtual window shopping experience!!!

Each and every week on our Conquest Comics Instagram page, we post pics of the new comic books, toys, and miscellaneous merchandise that just arrived. Brand spankin new product for you to salivate over!!! Figured there are enough folks here who collect that it would be a useful service that would help with keeping up to date with new product. Feel free to check out our other pics on our Instagram account. Please give the shop a follow on Instagram as well if ya like what ya see!!!

First things first...To find your local comic book shop check the link below. Throw some support their way instead of shopping Amazon or the other big box online retailers!!! Shop local!!!

Hopping right into things, we have a decent sized week for Marvel. Flagship titles such as Wolverine & Amazing Spider-Man are hitting alongside a new ish for Star Wars Thrawn.

In DC’s corner, it’s a fairly quiet one with Harley Quinn, Detective Comics, and Power Girl leading the way.

As for the Indy titles, Sonic the Hedgehog, Power Rangers, and Conan the Barbarian are a few of the standouts. Conan actually has 2 releases this week for some odd reason. Peep it out here in these nifty slideshows!

For the non comic fans here, there’s a small selection of nonsense making it’s way onto shelves this week as well. A bunch of Funko Pops (including a groovy Danny Trejo one), a Darkstalkers Bishoujo statue, and some WWE & Sonic figures lead the pack. Feast…my friends…

Funko Pops are trying to tempt me with Galaxy Quest. I've got other things to spend my money on right now :) My son likes his Pops though.

I hope business is good for you.

Business is doing well enough. It's picked up slightly the past couple of weeks out of the post holiday blues.

I friggin love Galaxy Quest!!!

Have you guys added any fun new pieces to your collection recently?

I got a couple of Lego kits over Christmas that I have posted about. My son has some huge ones that he needs to do. He doesn't let me help these days.

That’s awesome. While I love Lego, I never had the patience for building and putting together major sets. I have a buddy Greg who’s got more Lego’s than I’ve ever seen one human have. His basement is just cobwebbed built sets collecting dust next to giant bins of pieces. Madness! I’ll try to snap pics next time I’m at his pad.

I've seen some amazing Lego sheds, but I don't have anything like that. We've been watching some of the Lego Masters shows. Their builds are incredible.

When I was regularly going to San Diego Comic con, Lego would have a booth with these gigantic life size pieces on display built by masters. I always loved checking those out. Never seen the show though.

There's a bit scene for adults building Lego these days. I am not that into it, but it has nostalgia value for me.
