Welcome to #SMaP Show Me A Photo Contest Round 124!
In our corner of the world, the summer brings heat and it is getting harder to find birds for decent photos. During the day it is not advised to stay out especially at noon. Mercifully, the weekend is cool, windy, but more pleasant. And yet, I have not much to show and I have to look at my previous photos. So, here we are with a new round and let it be Free Theme again.

SHOW ME A PICTURE OF BIRD/S

Show me your photo of a bird, following these rules:
- The photo must be your own.
- Post in the community Feathered Friends
- You may add more photos, but you should state which one is your entry, otherwise the first will be taken into account.
- Tell us something about your photo/s.
- Your photo must follow the weekly theme.
- Please put the link of your entry in the comment section of the contest post here.
- Put in the title of your post that this is an entry for the contest. (Optional)
- Use #smap as a tag.
If you create quality post with more images and interesting story about them, making extra effort can give you bigger upvotes and attract curators. Keep that in mind.

My entry this week Dust Bathe or Sunbathe
Very cold winter day today in our part of the world well for us, bird photography obviously in much warmer weather, Saturday 30C Sunday and today 15C with wind chill 13C.
And possibly this is not a bath at all ... but a parasites-therapy ? ... 🤔
Would not be surprised as the small gremlins bother them as well!

House martins are very fast, but this place is their favourite to wash or gather mud for their nests.

Similar to our swallows and swifts, zip in and out at high speed, gorgeous!
Cool pics of the House Martins. The one flying looks very similar to the Barn Swallows we see around here.
The barn swallows are slightly longer and once I got one, thinking it was house martin. I can't find that photo. Quite often I see them flying together.
