What makes you hold onto hope? Enlighten us on something you do to create a safe, positive space around yourself, to boost the belief or conviction to always look for the cloud with a silver lining, even if it means starting again?

ON HOPE:
There's a lot of things I can't control in my life.
There are storms, wars, and ancestral karma far beyond my comprehension.
There's so much I'm powerless against.
But then, there's also this quote the Teacha KRS-One shares:
'Control your mind, not your life'.
See, life is like a river.
I know it's cliche but stay with me.
Life is a river. And the mind is a boat.
Can you control a river? No.
Bu you can navigate your boat down the river, the best that you can.
Have you ever heard of the phenomenon when you're navigating a boat where your eyes are looking at where you don't wanna go, and you naturally start steering in that direction?
To have hope, we've gotta keep our eyes fixed on the flow of the river, on our guiding star, and simply glance towards where we don't wanna go as reference before returning to focus on our dreams.
Control your mind. Or rather, steer your boat towards where you wanna go. To me, this is hope.
Surrendering to the flow of the universe, and building what security we can around us to navigate.
In fact, our boat can be really nice to be in.
We can make it beautiful and comfortable, even blissful once we get used to it.
Stay in your boat.
Don't get in someone elses.
Don't let anyone in yours.
We're all born with our own holy vessel,
And we can witness and direct our minds towards God/Goddess/The Universe/Source/Creation.

¿Qué te hace aferrarte a la esperanza? ¿Ilumínanos sobre algo que haces para crear un espacio seguro y positivo a tu alrededor, para aumentar la creencia o convicción de buscar siempre la nube con un lado positivo, incluso si eso significa comenzar de nuevo?

EN LA ESPERANZA:
Hay muchas cosas que no puedo controlar en mi vida.
Hay tormentas, guerras y karma ancestral que van mucho más allá de mi comprensión.
Hay tantas cosas contra las que soy impotente.
Pero también está esta cita que comparte Teacha KRS-One:
'Controla tu mente, no tu vida'.
Mira, la vida es como un río.
Sé que es un cliché, pero quédate conmigo.
La vida es un río. Y la mente es un barco.
¿Puedes controlar un río? No.
Pero puedes navegar tu bote río abajo, lo mejor que puedas.
¿Alguna vez has oído hablar del fenómeno cuando navegas en un barco y tus ojos miran hacia donde no quieres ir y, naturalmente, empiezas a girar en esa dirección?
Para tener esperanza, debemos mantener la mirada fija en el fluir del río, en nuestra estrella guía, y simplemente mirar hacia donde no queremos ir como referencia antes de volver a centrarnos en nuestros sueños.
Controla tu mente. O mejor dicho, dirige tu barco hacia donde quieras ir. Para mí, esto es esperanza.
Rendirnos al flujo del universo y construir la seguridad que podamos a nuestro alrededor para navegar.
De hecho, puede ser muy agradable estar en nuestro barco.
Podemos hacerlo hermoso y cómodo, incluso maravilloso una vez que nos acostumbremos a él.
Quédate en tu barco.
No te metas en otra persona.
No dejes que nadie entre en el tuyo.
Todos nacemos con nuestro propio recipiente sagrado,
Y podemos presenciar y dirigir nuestras mentes hacia Dios/Diosa/El Universo/Fuente/Creación.
