A fun round
I think week 14's question was quite fun because I already saw most of the Christmas silver wish lists and expected a few of them to appear in the comment section of the question of the week.
On top of that, I totally expected some to go for the art and maybe several who pick whatever is heaviest or most valuable in general due to the exclusivity. I guess I was right, some went for a few oz items, others picked something a bit more extreme.
Everyone has already been rewarded as you can see in the Winner's post which I published almost two weeks ago. I noticed in my drafts that I was already writing a winners post with new question where I shared my personal favourites for that week so I'm going to use them in this post even though the winners are already known. Enjoy!

My last purchase was the 2019 Steem silver round together with a few others that I yet have to share. I can give a hint though: many of you have a bunch of these lol.

My last silver buy was at a local coin club live auction in Burnaby last week which is an adjacent municipality from where I live. The club is called the North Shore Numismatic Society, talking with individual members about their collection is like speaking to a historian. That evening's program was about the History of the Merchant's bank, a bank that grew to be the third largest in the dominion of Canada before the nationalized currency was establish in 1935.
My little haul...
2026 Kookaburied 999 silver bullion round.
1959 80% silver Canada silver dollar,
1957 90% silver US Dime,
1964 90% silver US Dime,
1888 92.5% Canada 10 Cents,
And knowledge about the Merchant Bank of Canada.
It was fun, learned something new, complimentary drinks and snacks. Some coins I may have paid a collector's premium but since the funds go to financing this non-profit club's operations and expenses, it was worth it.
Their next coin show is back at the Nekkai Center in Burnaby on June 1st.

Haha, I have to admit that when I read 2026 I was like it must be a typo but then I noticed "Kookaburied" and started googling to find what this is about. I had no clue about these coins or at least never registered it properly :)

The Z50Zombucks are a parody silver round series issued by Provident Metals, The Kookaburied is the first release of the Z75 SECOND series. The series appealed to my Gothic slant so I collected and completed the set. Did I have fun with this? You bet I did!
The 2026 date suggests the Zombie apocalypse taking place soon. Also Inflation hurts survivors as the nominal value increased from Z50 to Z75. The appearance of these rounds in the donation auction clearly suggests that at least one other club member is a Stacker. I bet most of them are. I suspect one person who bought up the junk silver. He knew the prices and so I ended up paying above spot with 1959 dollar and the 2 US dimes.

easy...... I had a feeling that a break out in silver price was immanent, so i spent big on 60oz of the shiny stuff, just over a week ago!!

Nice! I just have my first maple leaf since last week, going to slowly stack these when I can.
That the price went up is a nice bonus, but I'm not focused on selling anytime soon..

Wow, I'm always a bit jealous of people who are into that for so long, I missed out on so much knowledge all these years but in my whole life I never knew anyone who was into that stuff.
The closest thing to that was my grandmother who collected the 5 gulden coins from Holland when I was a child. But I think that was more to save them than anything other :)
It's great to have that for your kids! I will pass things on when mine are big as well unless things go differently of course, as we can't see how fast all will collapse.. until then just going to add more and more when I can..
I'll have to take some pictures of some stuff I found recently. I'm glad I got it before the prices went sky high!
