Heute kommt wie versprochen der restliche Teil der Präsentationen von der Buzzparty2024. Wer den ersten Teil noch nicht kennt, hier könnt ihr es nochmal nach lesen.
Im ersten Teil war die letzte Vorstellung die von @alessandrawhite heute geht es dann mit den nächsten weiter.
Today, as promised, comes the remaining part of the presentations from the Buzzparty2024. If you don't know the first part yet, you can read it again here.
In the first part was the last presentation of @alessandrawhite today we continue with the next ones.
Gleich danach kamen unsere Freunde von @liotes, die ihr Kuration-Projekt vorstellten. Das ich bis dahin auch nicht kannte. Bedauerlicherweise habe ich wegen meiner Sprach-Probleme nicht so viel verstanden, aber auch hier konnte ich mir einen Reim darauf machen und nach ein paar Fragen wurde es mir klar. Sie versuchen, Communitys und Hivian durch ihre Kuration zu stärken und mit ihrem Kurationstrail lesenswerte Beiträge zu kommentieren und zu fördern. Außerdem sind sie sehr sympathisch und einen der Kuratoren, @mypathtofire, kannte ich bereits, was mich sehr überrascht hat. Ich hoffe, dass ich sie im Laufe der Zeit besser kennenlerne und wir uns beim nächsten Mal etwas mehr unterhalten können.
Right after that, our friends from @liotes presented their curation project. Which I had never heard of before.
Unfortunately, I didn't understand that much because of my language problems,
but again, I was able to make sense
of it and after a few questions it became clear to me.
They try to strengthen communities and Hivian through their curation
and to comment and promote posts worth reading with their curation trail.
They are also very personable and I already knew one of the curators, @mypathtofire, which surprised me a lot.
I hope I get to know them better over time and we can talk a bit more next time.
Auf @liotes folgte @detlev, der über seine Erfahrungen mit Meetups, Hive und seine Projekte wie den @beersaturday und den Beer-Token sprach. Ich kannte Detlev bereits von den verschiedenen Meetups, die er in Aachen organisiert. Aber es war sehr schön, ihn dort wiederzutreffen. Auch wenn ich selbst kein Bier trinke, habe ich es schon geschafft, 1–2 Beiträge in seiner Community zu schreiben und werde auch versuchen, einen über die Buzzparty zu veröffentlichen. Ich habe Fotos von anderen gemacht, die ein Bier getrunken haben.😂
Ich denke, ich werde Detlev noch öfter sehen und wir können uns weiterhin bei Meetups austauschen.
@liotes was followed by @detlev, who talked about his experiences with meetups, Hive and his projects such as @beersaturday and the Beer Token.
I already knew Detlev from the various meetups he organizes in Aachen. But it was very nice to meet him there again.
Even though I don't drink beer myself, I've already managed to write 1-2 posts in his community and will also try to publish one about the Buzzparty.
I have taken photos of others who have had a beer.😂
I think I will see Detlev more often and we can continue to exchange ideas at meetups.
Nach Detlev ging ich noch eine Zigarette rauchen und dieses Mal kam ich rechtzeitig zurück, um die Präsentation von @arcange, zu sehen, er sprach über sein Projekt. Er präsentierte uns @hiveauth und wie er versucht, Hive sicherer zu machen. was ich sehr beeindruckend fand, ich kann selbst überhaupt nicht programmieren. Doch er kann es und hat ein super hilfreiches Tool entwickelt, mit dem man sich sehr sicher einloggen kann. Schaut es euch mal an. Er sprach auch über viele andere Dinge in Bezug auf seine Projekte und machte sogar eine Live-Show, um uns zu erklären, wie man es einrichtet.

I came back in time to see @arcange presentation, he talked about his project.
He presented us @hiveauth and how he is trying to make Hive more secure. which I found very impressive,
I can't code at all myself. But he can and has developed a super helpful tool with which you can log in very securely. Take a look at it.
He also talked about many other
things related to his projects and even
did a live show to explain to us how to set
it up.
Danach ging ich noch eine rauchen mit den anderen und verpasste leider einen großen Teil des Vortrags von @mypathtofire. Er sprach über Ecency, die Vorteile des Frontends und was man sonst noch mit Ecency machen kann. Auch er hat erklärt wie einfach es ist damit einen Account zu erstellen und welche Tools er noch sehr hilfreich findet.
Da ich selbst kaum Ecency benutze, ihn aber sehr mag, sorge ich dafür, dass ich wenigstens ab und zu noch etwas mit Ecency mache, da es ja auch das Frontend war, mit dem ich bei Hive angefangen habe.
Afterwards I went for a smoke with the others and unfortunately missed a big part of @mypathtofire ´s talk. He talked about Ecency, the advantages of the frontend and what else you can do with Ecency.
He also explained how easy it is to create an account and what other tools he finds very helpful.
Since I hardly use Ecency myself,
but like it a lot, I make sure that I still do something with Ecency at least once in a while,
since it was the frontend I started with
at Hive.

Zu guter Letzt kam mein Team um die @hiq in Person von @smooms, der in seinem Vortrag erklärte, was die @hiq ist. Wie nicht anders zu erwarten, ging er ausführlich auf das Team ein und erwähnte sogar all die Unterstützer, die beim Erstellen der Ausgaben helfen. Der Hiq-Token und der Smartcast wurden ebenfalls erwähnt und zu guter Letzt wurde @craftink vorgestellt, ein play2earn Kartenspiel, welches das Hiq-Team erfunden und veröffentlicht hat. Im Moment läuft das Minispiel noch, aber er erzählte, dass neue Details in Entwicklung sind. Kurz vor Ende seiner Präsentation zeigte er allen ein kleines Informationsblatt, dass ab der Präsentation ein Event läuft, bei dem man Boosterpacks für Ink Tokens kaufen kann, solange der Vorrat reicht. Ich werde auf jeden Fall noch ein paar bestellen.
Last but not least came my team around the @hiq in the person of @smooms, who explained in his presentation what the @hiq is.
As you would expect, he went into detail about the team and even mentioned all the supporters who help create the issues. The Hiq token and the Smartcast were also mentioned and last but not least @craftink, a play2earn card game invented and published by the Hiq team, was introduced.
At the moment the mini-game is still running, but he said that new details are in development.
Shortly before the end of his presentation, he showed everyone a small information sheet that an event is running from the presentation onwards where you can buy booster packs for Ink Tokens while stocks last. I will definitely be ordering a few more.
Nachdem alle Redner fertig waren, erwähnte @tibfox kurz, dass wir so viel von der aufgebauten Merchandise mitnehmen könnten/sollten, wie wir wollten. Wie bereits erwähnt, hatte er mithilfe von @minigunner und @artakush eine Menge Merchandise aufgebaut. Ich konnte eine Menge Sachen mitnehmen, wie z.b. T-Shirts, Trinkflaschen und einige Tragetaschen. Einen Notizblock und einen Trinkbecher, den ich anschließend mit @solarwarrior. gegen einen Rucksack tauschte.
Wie man sieht, hat es sich gelohnt, alle Vorträge mehr oder weniger zu verfolgen, denn man hörte viele neue und coole Dinge, die ich noch nicht kannte.
After all the speakers had finished, @tibfox briefly mentioned that we could/should take as much of the merchandise set up as we wanted.
As mentioned before, he had set up a lot of merchandise with the help of @minigunner and @artakush.
I was able to take a lot of stuff with me, like t-shirts, water bottles
and some tote bags. A notepad and a drinking cup, which I then swapped with @solarwarrior. for a backpack.
As you can see, it was more or less worth following all the presentations, because I heard a lot of new and cool things that I didn't know yet.

Aha! So you were one of those who went for a smoke and left us waiting for the rest of us to resume the presentations hahahaha 🤣 the things one learns 🤣 no kidding, you made a good summary of the last part of that activity. I felt like there was tons of interesting information and there was a lot that I wasn't going to be able to remember. All projects propose interesting contributions to the ecosystem and it has been inspiring to know what different projects, like yours, are doing.
I hope we have the opportunity to coincide again and be able to exchange ideas. Oh and I'd love to read that next post about the beersaturday we had. Cheers!!!
Yes, I was one of the people who often went out. :-) But I think that I've already noticed a lot, which was very interesting. I also very much hope that many new projects will be created and that we will all meet again soon, maybe at the Hivefest2024, that would be great. I also hope that with the help of some people who speak English well, we'll be able to talk to each other more.
