I had a similar experience, people would play the Pity card when they are in need of help but the moment they get the loan, they show their true self.
Which makes the kind people not want to render help anymore

That sucks that you had something similar. I guess I'm just happy that it wasn't a huge amount of money and I did have in mind that I would be ok losing it in the worst situation which unfortunately did happen x.x.
so are you also one of the kind people that doesn't want to help anymore?
I still want to believe in humanity but I don't know I lose faith when this happens.
