I'm loving your posts - I am a surfer stuck living in the Southern Suburbs and your Muizenberg to Kalk Bay stretch is the easiest place to get waves and not completely empty my gas tank, so it's nice to see how other people look at that stretch when I tend to go there with only one thing on my mind (is the swell reaching the reefs or should I just enjoy Muizenberg)! Sometimes I do have to go to the other parts of Cape Town's coast though! - It all depends on the wind and swell conditions! As a new dad I must grab my opportunities when I can get them!

Cheers for that @jasperdick. Yip it has become hectic with the petrol price to simply jump in one’s car and drive around the peninsula looking for the best surf.
At any given opportunity I used jump in my bakkie and cruise along False Bay to Scarborough (and sometimes Kommetjie) and then back home over Red or Black hill. These days it is something I don’t do it much at all and it has to feel like a special occasion to do so……bummer.
@zakludick mentioned a few days ago that it has just been your daughters first birthday. Huge congrats to you and your wife.
