Today I want to share with you a StreetArt find from RORY GALLAGHER ๐ธ๐
I discovered yesterday this work while I was discovering County #Donegal in #ireland ๐ ๐ฎ๐ช
I captured this #mural / #artwork yesterday on 10 September 2023 and found also, in the townโs center, a statue from him. Both tributesโฆ

THE TOWN OF BALLYSHANNON IN IRELAND ๐ฎ๐ช IS WHERE RORY GALLAGHER WAS BORN IN MARCH 1948.

It states;
William Rory Gallagher 2 March 1948 โ 14 June 1995) was an Irish guitarist, singer and songwriter. He is known for his virtuosic style of guitar playing, and is often referred to as "the greatest guitarist you've never heard of".
A number other guitarists, including Alex Lifeson of Rush, Brian May of Queen, and Eric Clapton, have cited Gallagher as an influence.

Close by captureโฆ as you can see the blacks are not black here as the light was wrongโฆ
So I decided to go further away until the black and white mural could be captured better.
Signature of the artist and the tribute to Rory and mention of the photographer the artist used a photo from for his work.

A little bit later coming from our walk backโฆ even more cars gatheredโฆ ๐๐ one still does see this mural / StreetArt popping out.
I love #blackandwhite works like this as they popโฆ even on cloudy days in Ireland ๐ฎ๐ช
When we walked through the center of this town we found a #statue from #rorygallagher
It is located on Main Street in Ballyshannon ๐ธ๐ธ๐ธ

They are great artists. The guitarist, the painter and the sculptor. And what a great way to give tribute to these people behind these arts.
They are, I loved stumbling upon this yesterday.
