BeerSaturday Korean style

Without much thought and eager to enjoy a beer after a long, hard-working week, I found myself at a Korean restaurant (Seoul Chicken). Not finding the Budweiser listed on the menu, I opted for the "So Maek," a delightful mix of soju and beer.

"Soju is a clear, neutral spirit usually distilled from grains". Soju is in the bottle on the left, and has 30% alcohol. The funniest part is that it's up to the client to say when Soju is enough when they are fillong out glass. There are three levels: Good, fantastic and Stop!

The flavor of the mixture was okay; it felt like a loaded beer, especially as soon as I experienced the alcohol's effect. The beer was Super Bock, one of the two most famous beers in Portugal.

Ahhh, that was the finger food we had. Fried chicken: super crispy, secret flavor and spicy!

It tasted delicious and it felt like a super combination of food and beer for a Friday night.

After this unexpected dinner I picked my bike and rode back home, in a total of 13km. It's not much, I know! But it is what I was able to do tonight.

After all, this friday ended up well and that must be celebrated!!

Hip hip So maek!🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻
