How I started working on e-unicycles and scooters

in #euc2 years ago

First off sorry for the bad grammar, i'ts been a long time since I wrote anything this long in english
Here's a little of whats been going on since the last time I posted

I've been away for some time now but with good reason, as some people might know (mostly close firends and relatives) scince I turned 17 I started the adult life of "working", you know... the usual 8 or 9 hours of working in Argentina for very little money, well.. Argentina is a country with a lot of inflation, 1 u$d in argentina is worth around 290 argentine pesos to date, two months ago it was 190 anyways I digress. I'll leave this story for another post.
Even with all that, this doesn't stop the average working joes from trying to survive.
I started working the counter at a bakery/food place/coffee shop where my oldest brother from my mom's side was the eavning manager, at that place I worked almost every position. I worked the counter, making the dough for the medialunas (mini croissants), in the kitchen, delivery, waiting tables and fixingany thing that needed fixing, I was payed extra to do that sometimes even staying late with my older brother til around 1:00 am fixing the hinges on the glass doors for example. I loved that job as much as you can love a first job, getting home late, and tired and just wanted to sleep, where before working I would have spent hours playing video games on my pc.

After a year or two of working there I moved in with my current gf of 1 year, she was jumping between a few jobs back then, and right at that same time, at the bakery I worked at, were looking for a waitress for the eavning shift. so she aplied and got the job, probably a few months later, a lot of drama broke out and the owners decided to fire my older brother for reasons I'm not going to get into in this post. so here we are, my gf and I on our day off finding out about this, so we decide to quit at the same time, to avoid the million problems and rude comments about my brother that were going to happen(probably not the best idea), anyways now we were both jobeless and living in a one room shared bathroom and kitchen hotel with some savings but needing a job to be able to survive. my gf finds a place to work making snacks at korean bakery, and I'm jumping between jobs. Burger places, call centers, teaching english, bar tending, and a few things I can't remember right now.
Until one day my dad, @sponge-bob called me over to ask if i was busy so i could go with him to check out a new unicycle he wanted to buy, so I went and we talked to the guys there who had no clue how to set up and or how the thing even worked. my dad had the awesome idea of having me show them I know a lot about these things to maybe get a job doing something I really like, since I've been ridng one to go to highschool everyday and to deliver food when I worked at the slaves the name of the bakery i worked at, anyways, i showed them how to set the wheel up by inflating the suspension and unlock it through the app, also throwing around some jokes about them hiring me because I know so much about these wheels, next thing I know the owner stops by and I talk to him a bit about working there foe real, so he actually gives me his number to arrange an interview. I was ecstatic, I would be able to work with tools and get payed to, this is amazing.

Let's have a break, and leave this as a part 1 to the story, because if I keep writing this will be un undersatdable.
I will be writing more now that I'm in an apartment, but that's something you are going to have to read about in the next post.

sorry for cutting this short, but I'm still working and have limitted time on my hands, the next post will be in 1 or 2 days tops
