Pictures From One Of The World's Busiest Places

Lagos is one of the most chaotic cities in the world, and this is due to a combination of corruption, thuggery, ruggedness, chaos, scenery, erraticness, and a variety of other factors. I have been to many places in Lagos, and due to my illness, I have had and continue to have the opportunity to visit many more.

The best way to see the places is to take private transportation. It helps to have a cover when shooting. Shooting with a mobile camera makes you a target for harassment; unless you are shooting with a digital camera, you will want to keep your camera well hidden while shooting.

Taking public transportation makes it nearly impossible to shoot. We are all aware that photography is primarily concerned with the moment, the angles, and the narrative that a potential shot will convey.

Some of these photographs were taken in densely populated areas in Lagos. The roads had less traffic. Actually, there has never been a crazy traffic situation in this area, and as I previously stated, the roads are wider, there are fewer people living here, and there are more job opportunities.

As a result of the increased number of work establishments, the areas with buildings and accommodations are likely to be more expensive. This is what makes it the heart of Lagos.

So I took pictures of buildings from various angles; these establishments are likely to be different from what we have in other countries in terms of architecture, space use, technology, and level of advancement in comparison to others.

Pictures of banks, tall buildings, and the iconic electricity wire grid can be seen in almost every picture. This is the most commonly used electricity system in Nigeria; it is dangerous, crude, and unappealing, but it has some advantages.

Although the grid wires scarred the images, they created a recognizable identity. If you do not see this in Lagos, you might wonder if you are even in Lagos.

Most of these images depict commercial activities, which are commonly associated with places like Lagos.

What are your thoughts on the photos, and how do they look?

Okayyyy
This is Maryland, I could spot some pictures of Anthony too
If one does not hide his or her phone well especially in public transport, that person will lose the phone😅😅
Lagos is not for the weak😅
It’s for smart ones…

Yes, I clearly made sure I captured the labellings of the bus stops so that anyone who is in Lagos can clearly see that that's where I took the picture. It's a fine place

It doesn't look like there were too many people but maybe you just weren't in the right places. I guess you didn't go take pictures there because you said it could be dangerous to show off the electronics.

I was inside a car and taking shots. Lagos itself is one of the busiest places, but this place is one of the towns that are mainly affordable by rich people hence there are less people, but more industries

Funny! You said Lagos is one of the busiest places in the world and I believe you. But from your pictures, it might seem kind of empty of people.😀 Maybe you are like me and prefer to take a photo of the place rather than the crowd.

This place is one of the most peaceful places in Lagos, believe me, there are over 10 million people in Lagos alone, and we have markets where millions of people are shopping everyday..

Yep, that's pretty busy indeed. I don't want to think what a market where millions of people shop every day looks like in terms of crowdedness.

I think the most crowded place I've been to was Istanbul. Not all of it, obviously. Public transportation (buses) and I think the place next to a spice market was the crowdest when I was there.

Yeah, I hear Turkey is quite the busy place, is that where you live? Like is that your country?
Lagos Nigeria can be insane, we have markets where people find it difficult to even move because people as just too much..

I wish and hope I can have the means to go to other places of the world.

No, I was there on vacation some years ago. I'm a little further northwest, from Romania.

we have markets where people find it difficult to even move because people as just too much..

Yeah, that is insane...

I wish and hope I can have the means to go to other places of the world.

Maybe you will, some day... You already said a couple of times in your posts that life in Nigeria is pretty wild... I know treatments and doctors can be very expensive, but we all hope crypto can be life-changing some day, if we stay on track...

The first picture caught my attention
Wow
I love all of them

Yes, it's the loveliest of them all.

These pictures are nice picture, it is true about what you said. Lagos is one of the states that used amenities more and you can easily find many things there because of how large and big it is. That's why anyone that lives and survives in Lagos, I do refer them as a strong person. Nice shot my friend

Yes, they were taken in the heart of Lagos, and despite the whole busy schedules and tough life, those who have the means enjoy Lagos a lot

Yeah, you are very correct. The only thing that can make you enjoy Lagos is having what it takes to live there. If not you will just keep struggling to live there.

Wow, ma main man thanks so much for taking the risk to take all these pictures for us... I really hope you stay safe travelling the roads of Lagos and as always wishing you speedy recovery.... Hope things are getting good man🫡

Thanks for checking them out. I have been taking photos and posting here. Infact I started out here 7 years ago with posting pictures from places I travelled to, so it's a regular thing for me..

Yeah bro I'm a bit new well almost 1 months on Hive so I'm very excited to see these stuff

Here's some !LUV man
