Celebration Time

A couple weeks ago I posted about some Prime Rib-eye Steaks. I finally got them, and they were very nice. I looked up about 3 recipes and finally went with one. 20171008_164639.jpg

So I started with letting them get to room temp, and rubbing it with olive oil, then seasoning with salt and pepper.

I then pan seared them. both sides for 3 min each.

Then I put them in the oven for about 14 min at 400 Degrees. The guy I watched for the recipe, sliced a onion ring, and had you place it under the steak on the pan, so that the steak would not burn. Then use it for a garnish, was a great Idea!
Boom then a dab of butter.

Was really good, and I am going to buy the steaks again sometime, but next time I might grill for the sear part. I prefer flames on the meat.

It was really good, if you get a chance I would pick one up.

Nicely done. Can't believe that marbling... wow!

Costco meat is really good.
