Před týdnem jsem zde uváděl poklop ze Strakonic. Zůstanu u písmene „S“ a představím další město, tentokrát Slavonice
Slavonice belongs administratively to the South Bohemian region, but lies in the historical territory of Moravia. The first mention of the town dates from 1260. On the square are preserved houses in the Renaissance style. Also of interest are the lookout tower of the church or the local underground.
Admirers of military history will also enjoy themselves here. West of the city, it is possible to visit the infantry fortresses built between 1938 and 1939 to defend the territory of the Czechoslovak state.

Slavonice patří administrativně do jihočeského kraje, ale leží na historickém území Moravy. První zmínka o městě pochází z roku 1260. Na náměstí jsou zachované domy v renesančním slohu. K zajímavostem také patří vyhlídková věž kostela nebo místní podzemí.
Obdivovatelé vojenské historie si zde také přijdou na své. Západně od města je možnost navštívit pěchotní pevnůstky postavené v letech 1938 až 1939 na obranu území Československého státu.

The subject of our interest, however, is the manhole cover and the rendering of the city emblem on its surface. I have two photos, one worse than the other. That's why I choose the better one :-)
Předmětem našeho zájmu je však kanalizační poklop a ztvárnění městského znaku na jeho povrchu. Mám dvě fotky, jednu horší než druhou. Proto vybírám tu lepší z nich :-)
