Dump Cake (quick & easy!)

This dump cake is delicious - yet easy and quick to prepare! 

Ingredients

• 1 box Yellow cake mix
• 3 cups Fruit (your choice!)
• 1 stick Butter

Directions

1. In a medium bowl, use half the cake mix to prepare the cake batter according to the directions on the box (be sure to cut the ingredients on the box in half).
2. Grease a 9 x 13 pan.
3. Pour the liquid batter from step 1 into the bottom of 9 x 13 pan.
4. Spread the fruit on top of the batter.
5. Set aside a handful of the remaining dry cake mix (to use later), then spread the rest on top of the fruit.
6. Cut the stick of butter into slices and disperse evenly as next layer.
7. Sprinkle the last handful of dry cake mix on the very top.
8. Bake at 350 degrees until the cake is done (about 45 mins).

Tips

• This dessert completely depends upon the type of fruit used, so feel free to experiment!  Cherry, blueberry and apple are delicious, but you can really use any type of fruit and it should be tasty...peach, blackberry, strawberry, lemon, pineapple, etc.
