Never say no

We left home at the 13th of September for a trip with many different chapters that is still going on. It was the same day that we left our laptop to the service, since it seemed to have a problem that excided my poor repairing knowledge. We were told that we'll have a diagnosis in a couple of days and they would send the laptop to wherever we were, once it was repaired. So we began our trip with plans for frequent updates and a lot of pictures on our blogs. But the universe decided that we should take a break from the online world too and made sure that the laptop won't be delivered until yesterday!

The last 25 days I have managed to put together just 4 posts using my phone for taking pictures, editing (or not editing) and writing. That's something I am not used to do at all and to tell you the truth I'll be perfectly happy if I never have to do it again :)

Yesterday, after reinstalling my photographic programs I finally took a look to the pictures I have taken so far, with my dslr. And it felt like I took them ages ago! The weeks that have passed, as well as the fact that we are doing something like a lot of trips the one after the other than one big one, gave me the same feeling of distance that I often have when I am already back home!

But the pictures are here and so are the memories. And since the laptop is here too, I guess that it is time to start reconstructing our trip even though I am sure that I won't keep a strict chronological order. The travel diary concept has to wait for another trip :)

Those pictures are from day 2, or else the 14th of September. We were still at Crete, crossing it from the east to the west. After the town of Rethymno we made a small detour in order to visit the famous springs of Argyroupoli. It is a location with amazing vegetation as a result of the abundance of running water that used to be used for powering watermills. Now the old mills have been turned into taverns and the main use of the place is to satisfy the hunger of droves of tourists under the shadow of the centenarian trees and the sound of the falling water at the countless small waterfalls that are formed along the slope!

We weren't hungry but we most definitely appreciated the cool, fresh air and the comforting protection of all those old trees. Anyway I never say no to a walk into nature or into taking a few new pictures either :)

I hope that I am not abusing Denise's good heart by contributing this post to the #MarketFriday challenge, initiated by @dswigle.

After all, there are a lot of money that are changing hands into all the taverns that are hidden into the scenery :)

All the pictures and the words are mine.

Thank you for reading and if you want to know more about me you can check out my introduction post.

Hahaha market Friday???? Excuse me sir, I'll have two leaves and.. what the heck, it's payday, chuck in one of those fancy waterfalls to go. No bag, and keep the change 😂😂😂

I am sorry granny, I didn't want to be naughty 😂

Haha you are right, it was too much to call it market Friday but, in my defense, if you zoom in the first picture you can actually see a couple having lunch and the waiter talking to them :)

Αχ, πολύ ωραίες φωτογραφίες 😍

Σ' ευχαριστώ πολύ!

Να είσαι καλά 🤗

We are transported once again to another world through your photos. The first one gave me that fantasy vibe. Lovely #MarketFriday entry :) Cheers!

Thank you very much, I am glad you liked it :)

YAY so glad you got your laptop so we get to see these beautiful images. I am also glad you had a break from being online. Looking forward to seeing more of your adventures. I agree with you about doing posts from the phone. I attempted it while I was flying to Amsterdam and it was too much for me!

Thank you Sara! Yes, the break wasn't bad after all, I probably needed it. I am glad to hear that you don't like posting from the phone either. I thought that everyone was doing it and I was some kind of dinosaur, stuck in the past :)
