My childhood in "Herlev Huse," Denmark. Growing up in rent-controlled social housing with a massive garden, my father built a chicken coop from scratch. Tending to the hens in the freezing winter taught me raw work ethics. I even started my own micro-business as a kid—saving up money from paper routes and selling copied computer games to buy an incubator, raising my own chicks, and selling eggs to neighbors. While chaotic and far from perfect, this analog "time capsule" provided the ultimate sweet spot and foundation for me to become the independent thinker, musician, and creator behind LasseCash today.

Min barndom i "Herlev Huse". Jeg voksede op i et billigt, almennyttigt rækkehus med en enorm have, hvor min far byggede et hønsehus helt fra bunden. At passe hønsene i den iskolde vinter lærte mig en rå arbejdsmoral. Som barn startede jeg endda min egen mikrovirksomhed – jeg sparede penge op fra avisruter og salg af piratkopierede computerspil på Den Blå Avis til at købe en rugemaskine, så jeg kunne udklække mine egne kyllinger og sælge æg til naboerne. Selvom det var kaotisk og langt fra perfekt, viste denne analoge "tidslomme" sig at være det ultimative "sweet spot" og fundamentet for, at jeg blev den uafhængige tænker, musiker og skaber bag LasseCash i dag.

Running naked through the cold streets of South Harbour, first believing I was Neo and later Jesus, I narrowly avoided death by speeding traffic and freezing water. Defying the grim statistics that suggest many individuals never fully recover or face a drastically reduced life expectancy after such a crisis, I returned to the workforce, became a father, and later founded LasseCash. Today, I view myself as a bleeding lion resting under a bush on the savannah—taking the next year to completely heal my nervous system, protect my territory with calm authority, and record my journey permanently on the blockchain.

Et dybt personligt og råt tilbageblik på et totalt mentalt kollaps en iskold vinternat i Sydhavnen i 2004. Midt i en akut psykose forlod jeg min lejlighed i splinterravende nøgenhed i den tro, at jeg var Neo fra The Matrix og senere Jesus, og overlevede på mirakuløs vis både tæt trafik med 80 km/t og det iskolde vand ved Ericsson-bygningen. På trods af en dyster statistik for så voldsomme episoder, lykkedes det mig efterfølgende at vende tilbage til arbejdslivet, blive far til to børn og senere stifte LasseCash. I dag sammenligner jeg mig selv med en blødende løve, der det næste år trækker sig tilbage under en busk for at hele sit nervesystem og genvinde den fulde dominans over sit territorium.
