I think this is a really terrible move. Never kill someone trying to spread an idea. Killing him only cemented his ideas to people who are following him. Even people who don't care would also look into him.

So, a controversial "doctor" was killed the other day, I believe he was egyptian(?) and was killed to "silence" him because his so-called medical advice gained a big following...
I think this is a really terrible move. Never kill someone trying to spread an idea. Killing him only cemented his ideas to people who are following him. Even people who don't care would also look into him.
Killing someone to stop an idea, gives the illusion that their ideas are worth dying for.
The thing is, I heard some of his takes, and they amount to absolute nonsense to anyone who understands biology. Telling his followers to avoid most food, and completely avoid any pharamutical medicine. Those who believed him aren't educated enough to not fall into that trap.
