I got a new Parkrun personal best on Saturday - 38:23, my blisters have subsided (and then reappeared and then subsided again). There's an independent coffee shop by Waitrose that does brunch and looks like it might be a good post-parkrun spot in future. I got cramp on the way up to the park, thought I was going to have to sit it out, but stretched and massaged and felt comfortable enough to at least start running.
The equinox came! Suddenly we've more night than day! I'm not quite getting up early enough at the moment to notice but the evenings are drawing in.
On Sunday morning I enjoyed, if that's the word, the tragic romance of "Film Stars don't die in Liverpool" about the last days of Gloria Grahame, her out of "The Bad and The Beautiful" and "It's A Wonderful Life". There may have been tears before lunchtime.
On the other hand Discovery of Witches is still shit.
My Monday's are long. I forgot my Network Railcard which cost me an extra £7. Fish and Chips for tea. A spider suddenly crawled down my arm and onto my plate just as I was taking the last chip. Watching "Solo" for the second time (this time on the small screen) and the Full Moon followed me as I walked home.
Then STEEM got b0rked for a while and it's not entirely back to normal yet. I took a couple of gentle loops around the riverside 6k route I've devised. Tuesday felt easier than Thursday.
Today was one of those days that will be marked as a milestone or a millstone, but more on that another day.
Are you parkrunning tomorrow? I'll miss it this time, but I'll run on Sunday anyway.
Spider and chips could be a new delicacy. We had a huge spider run across the living room this evening. It's that time of year.
