En este día quiero hablarles sobre la visita sorpresa (en compañía de mis padre y mi hija) que le hice a mi tíos hace unos días, ustedes pensaran que esto no tiene mayor importancia, pero así no es para mí; ellos son dos personas muy importantes en mi vida, son tíos de mi madre y ellos vieron por el estudio y por todo aquello que mi madre necesitaba durante su niñez y adolescencia, pues ellos la amaron y cuidaron como una hija (mi abuela además de mi madres tenia 6 hijos mas y eran de escasos recursos).
Para que conozcan un poco mas sobre ellos, se llaman: Lina y Marino, sus edades pasando los 85 años de edad; ellos se unieron en matrimonio desde muy jóvenes, tenían la vida que todos pudieran desear, pero llevaban varios intentos de embarazo y no lo conseguían, era algo que frustraba sus vidas, pues tan solo era lo único que les faltaba para vivir la vida perfecta; luego aproximadamente en el año 1967 mi tía Lina, logra concebir y para sorpresa de todos era un embrazo gemelar.

Lo que la familia puede recordar y me cuentan, es que fue una felicidad inolvidable, era un sueño hecho realidad; pero al llegar a los 6 meses de embarazo llego la peor pesadilla para ellos, tuvieron un accidente automovilístico y producto de la gravedad del hecho, los gemelos perdieron la vida, fue un momento devastador y de mucho dolor, y más aún que luego de ese trágico momento ella quiso seguir con su intento de ser madre, pero más nunca tuvo esa dicha.
Y así siguieron con su matrimonio amándose como desde el primer día; un poco más arriba les había mencionado que ellos veían de mi madre durante toda su infancia la querían como su hija, pues mis abuelos no tenían los recursos para darles a sus hijos una vida de optimas condiciones, pero Lina y Marino a pesar de no tener responsabilidades con ellos, siempre les suplían alimentos, los llevaban de paseo y en fechas importantes como en los cumpleaños y navidades siempre les daban obsequios, ropa y hacían la celebración de su cumpleaños; mi mamá los menciona como unos ángeles para sus vidas.

And so they continued with their marriage loving each other as from the first day; a little above I had mentioned that they saw my mother throughout their childhood they loved her as their daughter, because my grandparents did not have the resources to give their children a life of optimal conditions, but Lina and Marino despite not having responsibilities with them, always supplied food, took them for walks and on important dates like birthdays and Christmas always gave them gifts, clothes and made the celebration of his birthday; my mother mentions them as angels for their lives.
Luego de tantos años, la situación en Venezuela se agravo en cada aspecto (desde el 2014), para ese entonces ellos ya eran jubilados de sus trabajos, pero de igual manera contaban con una pensión y varios beneficios que les otorgaban por haber sido parte de empresas de gran estima. Sin embargo, debido a la devaluación de la moneda nacional y demás factores presentes, su vida a dado un gran cambo, pues han necesitado la ayuda de demás personas para poder adquirir alimentos y medicamentos.
Y es por ello que el día que decidí visitarlos de sorpresa, quise llevarle la cosas que necesitaban, pero mis padres si van constantemente de visita, pero yo tenían 2 años sin verlos pues viven un poco lejos de donde vivo, y la verdad tenia ansias de verlos y compartir una tarde junto a ellos; y sin duda alguna supero mis expectativas, realmente ellos son como unos abuelos para mí, les tengo un amor totalmente diferente al que se puede sentir por los tíos. Además, agradezco a la vida por aun mantenerlos fortalecidos físicamente, pues ellos dos solos cuidan del uno al otro.

And that is why the day I decided to visit them as a surprise, I wanted to bring them the things they needed, but my parents do go constantly to visit, but I had 2 years without seeing them because they live a little far from where I live, and the truth was eager to see them and share an afternoon with them, and certainly exceeded my expectations, they really are like grandparents to me, I have a totally different love than you can feel for the uncles and aunts. Besides, I thank life for still keeping them physically strong, because the two of them alone take care of each other.

Ese día quisieron hacerme un jugo, aunque yo les dije que no se preocupara, que solo quería hablar con ellos, pero ustedes saben como son las personas amables y nobles, que nunca reciben un no por respuesta. Por cierto, casi lo olvido, pero les presento a: tomas, es la mascota de ellos, un loro y realmente desde que tengo memoria ha existido, y llama a mis tíos por “mama y papa”.
Y esto ha sido todo queridos amigos, siempre que veo esta comunidad de familia, me gusta hablarles de las personas de mi familia que son sumamente importantes para mí, gracias por llegar hasta aquí; y por si fuera poco, también quiero hacerles hincapié de ayudar a todo el que podamos, recordemos que todo lo que sembramos, de eso cosecharemos; y que además la vida es incierta no sabemos que nos depare mas adelante.
