When it comes to resourcefulness and creativity, there is more to experience in my country, not to mention that the Philippines is also home to a variety of delights.
As I explored everywhere, be it in the city or the province, I saw how the Filipino culture loves to embrace the presence of Street foods in different flavors, forms, and tastes. And yes, I am a street food lover!
Tripping down memory lane, I had a wonderful moment strolling in the streets of Malaybalay City, Bukidnon. I have seen a variety of foods that made me hungry and I have tasted every delicious foodie that I passed by. I must say that aside from the breathtaking surroundings, I felt delighted by its colorful atmosphere as I strolled everywhere.
Meanwhile, I was happy to see a sweet cloud of cotton candy in different vibrant colors. There were pink, blue, and purple colors but I so loved the pink one. I remember when I was younger, I always asked my mom to buy me one but it was only a rare moment that I could have this since she did not have a budget to buy me one whenever the vendor was there. However, whenever she had extra money, she always gave me money to buy cotton candy.
The cottony and vibrant puffs were made uniquely. I love how incredible the cotton candy vendor who cooked this manually during my elementary days. Even now, I am happy to stroll on a bustling Street while seeing these sweet and fluffy clouds because they always bring big smiles as this is one of my childhood favorite foodies.
And then after, I went to the ice cream man nearby. I was quite amazed when many were falling in line to buy his ice cream. I waited for a while so I would not be waiting in queue.
He was selling three flavors but when I came, only two flavors were available, which were the Mango and Ube Flavors. I thought at first that it would be sold individually but he said to me that if I wanted to buy the two flavors in one ice cream cone, it would be fine for him. And so, I took the offer and enjoyed eating the delicious ice cream.
I felt like a little kid standing in the streets as I savored the delicious and colorful flavors. Topical countries like the Philippines are best to have this delicacy to beat the heat. And yes, I so love ice cream, especially the Supreme flavors or even just the fruity ones. The creamy scoops were truly irresistible and I enjoyed the moment.
After eating ice cream, I passed by many stalls displaying savory Fried intestines, hotdogs, and Kwek-kwek. Honestly, all of these are my favorites. Here are some quick snapshots that I captured while walking on the streets.
Whenever I wanted an adventurous foodie experience, I would always go for I saw or the uniquely deep-fried and flavorful intestine of a chicken. I love it because this was what my grandmother was selling before and since then it has become my favorite especially if these are skewered and marinated so well. It is best to be dipped in spicy and hot sauce.
I do love bold flavors and it was hard to choose from which stall I would buy my favorite Street foods. But I simply strolled until I had chosen one. What I love about this stall is that it has many delicious Street foods to choose from.
This stall was so enticing because it had everything that I wanted. The Kwek-kwek or the deep-fried egg was there so I bought one. This is so popular in the Philippines because aside from being affordable, it is so tasty too as it is seasoned with an orangey batter and it is truly my favorite snack especially when the sauce blended is hot along with the freshly cut cucumber.
Aside from the Kwek-kwek, I also bought a hotdog. Hotdogs on sticks and deep-fried even made my day and it was a delicious snack too. I was so full at the moment as I had tasted many distinct foodies with a twist on the streets of Malaybalay City.
Perhaps from the sweet delights to the fried intestines, kwek-kwek, and hotdogs, everything was so worth it. And what makes them more delicious is being marinated with spics and ingredients. I truly admire how the vendors made them delectable, especially with the presence of the vinegar and soy sauce with spices, and the hot and spicy sauce that added palatability to what I have eaten. And when it comes to buying Street foods, I always make sure that it is still hot.
There were many groups also enjoying the moment but what was the most surprising part was the magical display of the horizon. I was so thrilled and captured many quick shots.
The streets of Malaybalay City were huge and wide so it took me more time to enjoy the moment until I was surprised to see the fiery sky. It is truly a rare moment in my life and I am so delighted to see it once more.
Honestly, this made my day more worthwhile. I love the beautiful display with a blend of vibrant pink, blue, orange, and golden shades. Ah! The colorful delights and the fiery sky made my day so perfect.

Mahilig ka pala talaga sa street foods sis. Ako paminsan Minsan lang talaga. Parang nadala Ako one time na kumain Ako Ng isaw tapos sumakit Ang tyan ko at nagka amoeba Ako. Mula that time di na talaga Ako kumakain Ng isaw.
So far, I have not experienced it sis. I always make sure that whenever I eat one, it must be freshly served and still hot. I do not get on the displayed trays. I will wait for the next batch. Heheh. Yes, I so love street food sis.

I honestly got hungry seeing the street foods you posted. Fried intestines sure is a delight! you must have satisfied your sweet tooth with that cotton candy and ice cream.; my kids begs me for cotton candy whenever they see vendors around
Kids do love cotton candies for being so sweet, colorful, and vibrant. I musy say that I am a lover too when I was a little kid. And yes, these intestines are so delicious. Inlove the grilled as well. Have a nice time!
