Weekly ish Running Update...

in #running15 days ago

I've just realised I've missed out one random inteerval session I did about 10 days ago, but the last three runs as follows:

Hereford easyish 6K

I wasn't in the mood for really slow running so I opted for slightly faster...

5.47 pace and 151BPM average is OK - low HRZ 4.

Hereford easy 7K

Out around Breinton, loverly morning!

Slightly slower pace and lower HR, I am gonna experiment with this going forwards!

London Intervals...

I headed to the track and bashed out 4.2Ks worth of intervals at a decent pace, as below...

Interesting that the first long interval I felt fine and sped up to a decent final 0.6K pace, I could have pushed for a 2K total, but that was enough, the next two 800s felt hard as did the 400s, this was enough!

Paces..

You know what, I will take the above!

Final thoughts...

I am quite happy with this routine - alternating slow runs which I am really enjoying with tempo and track sessions, the later I do enjoy but today's not so much, this was just plane hard work.....

It'll be interesting to see if I do get any faster....
