I believed , I invested and here we are on HIVE's first birthday
One year passed and we are celebrating first birthday of hive and on this occasion, I want to share my experience on #HIVE. Right now, this is the only social media I am available day in and day out. I see my HIVE notifications before my whatsapp notifications - so you can imagine, how much hooked I am into HIVE. I am not even a professional writer - I don't write every day - I don't earn a lot by posting content - BUT - BUT - I earn from curation rewards and I knew this day was coming. At it's current price, it's almost going to get me 10$ a day ( 50% of 10 * 2$ vote)- amounting to match my house rent. And at the same time I could distribute 10$ to authors.
And HIVE has been here without any professional marketing - all we have now is the community initiative on twitter - salute to @nathanmars for his blood and sweat on HIVE and Leo. Imagine, what would happen, when some marketing flavor is added. There has been various proposals for that , especially, based on my previous conversations on this with @theycallmedan , its definitely coming around @threespeak initiative of their new tokenism. And @leofinance already has set an example by showing the world that, the #HIVE echo system is a perfect place to build a community from ground and succeed .
While everyone is busy building on #HIVE, we are the ambassadors to spread the words. I joined Steem by chance, and was so much impressed that, I decided to invest. And when HIVE was borne, I saw the commitment from the community, so I decided to increase my investment 3 fold. When everyone was not so optimistic, I bought 70k hive at 9 cents, and you can see, it has increased more than five times. And I think, at the minimum, the price of #HIVE should be 10$. Some times back , I was asked to share my opinion on HIVE in one sentence and my reaction was : It's the most usable crypto today. You can earn from posting, as well as curation and even interest on your savings. You put the same amount in bank, you will have less rewards and more headache to justify your earnings from interest in your tax calculation. It's just that many have not discovered HIVE, and its our duty to spread the words.
I have been encouraging people to join HIVE and post and earn. I do not recommend anyone to invest money - but instead of investing time on any other social media, it's worth spending time here. Once they are convinced , it's their call to invest. And I am sure, if they stick around, they will definitely invest, after understanding the details. The light sign on from @leofinance is very helpful to onboard anyone within minutes. May be we just need a hour max, to have someone onboard and write their first post. I am planning to onboard couple of friends this weekend.
One other initiative I have started is to share hive posts on Google Reviews. I started giving reviews about various places, to help others. However, my reviews are very popular, and have been getting more than thousand views. Especially adding photos gets more views. So when Google told me that I am popular, I thought, I should utilize the opportunity to share HIVE. Here was my last review sharing the hive post.
I am going to continue doing this, so that more and more people know about HIVE. Maybe doing the same for Amazon reviews will help, if they do not block links. We have heard about a little squirrel story from the Ramayana. I believe we can all be that little squirrel for HIVE, until we have the massive marketing campaign come in. And the #Hive500 Crypto Club mission by @nathanmars is definitely going to create a lot of buzz in twitter. The consistent effort by all the people of this community has brought here. And I think, we are going UP and UP from here.

Wow 70k hive at 9 cent? Look how that has effectively panned out so far, 10$ a day is definitely amazing from curation alone, I think you should write more often at least 4 times in a week or even 5 if possible, its absolutely paid off to believe in Hive. Cheers, wow.

That's awesome. If one believes in this platform one can achieve it, but the problem is that most of the people give up in the beginning itself when the returns are low.

The fact that you put in a couple thousand dollars worth into Hive when it was so cheap and has grown 10x is a testament to what you've said. I really like the idea you have incorporated into leaving a review for a place on Hive and then posting the link in the summary of your Google Review site. That's brilliant marketing! What a wonderful idea!
