Thank you! It has been a bit rough. I think having 10 months go perfectly (as far as death and illness goes) made me a little too optimistic

RE: Adventures in Making Clothes, AKA Why I'm Wearing A Tablecloth

Love this!! In the last year, I’ve been getting rid of so many of my clothes, trading them for simple jeans and t-shirts. I thought I used to be into frills, but when I’m honest…

I wondered why it was called tanning, now I know! Plus, I would much rather sweep than work that vacuum!

Great content once again! I enjoyed reading about the getting hair off a hide and tanning it The whole process was a mystery to me before.

Excellent post! I only knew some foods that went through this process (fermentation). I think that involving children in the art of cooking is great since it teaches them to eat…

Such great ideas! My kids have loved the feeding of the sourdough process, kombucha and kefir. The hardest part with some of the ferments is patience to wait to see the end product.

Nice intro! You're right; dandelion is the easiest and safest. I even hear it can be fermented ;) As for walking through the woods and grappling with bears: once upon a time…
