Genius Juice – Day 59

in HiveGarden4 months ago

The amount of growth we have seen in the last 15 days is quite impressive. They have now reached their max height for my grow tent, and based on how much more they will grow during flower its time to switch them to 12/12 light schedules now. There are no buds yet, but we should see signs of them very soon. Hopefully they will handle the stretch well since I am watering them much more. Based on using sensors in the soil I know exactly when they are getting too dry and I add more water to their pots and dishes.

Strain:Genius Juice
Dominance:50% indica/50% sativa
Nutrients used:Happy Frog Soil / Ocean Forest soil. Big Bloom, Grow big:All FoxFarm products.
Lineage:Gluey x Genius
Current growing stage:Vegetative
Current plant age:59 days old
Sex:Feminized
Location:Central Virginia

Assuming the plant will grow another 2x-2.5x at three feet tall as it is right now. It could be over six feet tall by the end of flower.

I can raise the lights pretty far up in this tent. But I have to keep space between the lights and plant as well, usually around two feet.

They are growing quite nicely through their first layer of netting.

As they have been growing through the netting, I am working them into each square so they all have space to grow evenly.

Topping these plants two to three times has given them a really nice canopy.

We can see they are females, but no signs of buds just yet.

I love all the leaves.

Those trunks are getting quite thick too. Probably will double in size by end of flower.

I should probably thin out the canopy below, as not much light is getting to those bottom leaves now.

Overall its been a good grow. Plant number three is still lagging behind. So the canopy looks good besides the far back corner.

But even number three is moving past the first netting, just the others were past it over a week ago.

I think they like my new light, and hopefully with the new sensors and c02 added they are extra happy getting consistent waterings.

I do wonder if they will go purple, as the tent temperatures have been getting into the 60s. I do hope so.. its a 50/50 hybrid but maybe it has enough indica in it to give the buds a nice shade of purple.

So now we wait for buds to form, and raise the light as they get taller. I am also planning on integrating a irrigation system. As I find watering them when they are scrogged quite difficult. So using a watering system using drip lines may help me out. There is not much room when the plants get big and using a large water pale gets harder the bigger they get.

After this grow, I am hoping I am right on track with starting seeds for my next outdoor grow. But that is many months away, and since I just started flowering these it will take at least two months before I am at that point. But with the cold weather we must wait for the spring to start outdoor grows. So for now we are growing inside in a tent.

Lovely good to hear that those sensors are working as they should .
I'm curently experimenting with some ZIgbee sensors for my plants in house and on the balcony with Home assistant .

bought some sensors on aliexpres , the only thing that looks off is the humidity it reports .

But the lux readings work perfect to trigger my sun screens .

yes it's still dark outside 05:47 AM here at the moment. and the papyrus needs water again

Oh very nice, I use a zigbee hub that I control some 120v outlets from. I love the thing.

These looks fresh and exquisite 👌 surely once you grow them outdoor , they get much better i guess.

Ah thanks, these are not the plants that will be growing outdoors. Those are coming up next. But I do hope by growing more sativa dominant strains outside I can resist the humidity problems I encountered last year.

absolute smart gardening : good for the environment, good for the hip pocket and good for the body, congratulations

Thanks much, I do like growing weed. I am thankful I am allowed to where I live.

Espectacular

I think so too, loving the canopy forming.. thanks

Day by day your marijuana plants look more and more fertile, can't wait to see the flowers appear on each branch.

Ah thanks much, me too.. the buds are going to look really cool I think.

Wow, que increible. Jamas he visto una en la vida real. Gracias por compartir el proceso de su crecimiento. Saludos.!!

Glad to share my growing experiences, I really like having a place like this to share the days as they go by with the grow.

Saludos!!.... Mucho éxito y sigue compartiendo para seguir conociendo más el proceso de esos cultivos .

Day by day plants production and growth are getting better.

Hi.

It's great to have sensors that alert us when the soil dries out.
I love your plant incubator; it's incredible how they grow all the way to the ceiling.
I like the shape of their leaves because they look like stars rising from the earth, trying to return to the sky where they belong.

Nice post, my friend. 😀

Yeah the sensors are really paying off, I can make sure they never get too dry now. And making sure the temp and humidity also stay in line with where they need to be.

Grow tents are really cool, this one I got is massive.. but I used to use a 4x4 foot tent which was pretty good as well.

thanks much, glad you enjoyed the post.

Damn those are looking great. What size tent are you using?

thanks much. I got a gorilla grow 5x9 tent with a 1 foot extension.
