New records were set for the month of June in solar production. Array-C peaked with over 14,000w of solar power on one afternoon. Along with that, new records were set in Bitcoin mining from excess power. And the three Megawatt hour threshold was broken this month. So lots going on in June, setting many records for the farm.

Above we can see the PV of Array-C peaking over 14kw. Pretty amazing, my miners can only use up to around 7800w. So charging vehicles is the other way of using up the excess.
In the month of June we produced 3653.5 kWh (3.65 Mwh) on the farm.
I was expecting to see big numbers, but honestly 3.6 megawatt hours was more than I thought I would make.
Using excess solar power the farm mined 0.00174956 Bitcoin valued at $107.84 based on the current Bitcoin price of $61,605

I have been telling my parents that we need a solar array at their property. We have large fuel tanks and generators but if the grid goes down the fuel isn't going to last that long.
It is nice to have, we also have generators and they have been proven to be very useful as well.
Your array is so productive. Are you still looking for more ways to use all that power?

Yes, but I do not want to stray too far from my goals of garlic production. So I could do many things with all that power, but the time it takes to manage those devices makes it not really worth it. As I would need to monitor them all the time. Or just too risky to even consider, such as hydrogen production.
I guess mining is an easy option. I just export my excess, but if we ever get a/c it can power that. Given current (exceptional) temperatures it is tempting.
Yep, I just set them to run and as long as my batteries do not drop too much from the clouds I can just let them go for hours at a time.
Indeed, consider getting a split unit. It uses a fraction of the power of a central air unit and cools and heats really well. You can use fans to blow air from the cold room the split unit is in to the other rooms pretty easily.

Hey, $107 is no joke, that's awesome. I was looking at some small solar systems that were on sale from Jackery during Prime days, but I just couldn't bring myself to spend the money right now.

do you feel like the mining operation has reached its 'sweet spot' with the current hardware, or are you planning to scale up the compute load to match the production peaks during the remaining summer months?
What are your miners and how much power do they consume?
For the moment I am finished buying mining hardware. So my goal is to run them for more hours a day. Previous to completing the solar panels on array-c I could only run the two ASIC miners during peak production periods like around 11am till 3pm.
But now I have so much excess PV, I can draw down my battery bank in the morning running the miners. And by late afternoon I have usually charged them back up, even with the miners load.
Right now I am able to run the miners from around 9am, till 7pm and not push batteries depth of discharge past 45%
