Description from Strava:
The weather has turned a little cooler with the odd bit of rain, but that will not stop me from running. This morning I wanted to do some intervals, so headed up to the hill on West Drive.

There is a row of white houses up the road where the end one is getting some alterations. It had an extension on the side and back that has been knocked down. I shall be keeping an eye on what happens there. I used to know some people who lived in that row and they looked at buying the patch of land behind them to build on. Someone has built several houses there anyway a few years back. It seems any spare patch gets built on around here. On my way home from the station yesterday I was looking to see if there was a shortcut through one of the new estates, but it looks like you cannot get through for now. This place has changed so much in the time we have lived here, but such is progress.

My 'sprints' were not too bad today. I may be seeing a slight improvement lately. Along with parkrun this is one of my benchmarks for progress. Strava gives you times for all sorts of things to help with that.

I took the longer way home to log some extra distance for the work challenge.

According to my Garmin watch my resting heart rate has dropped a little, so perhaps that is an effect of my recent training. I will keep up the zone 2 runs with a couple of runs each week where I work harder. One of those will be parkrun.

Have a great rest of the week and run free!

Killing it as usual. I think this is actually a little bit slow for you, isn't it? More of a relaxed run?

It was intervals so some was quite slow. I'm hoping it does me some good.

Im sure it will. I should try intervals some day. I had in the past done 1 km run at a high pace followed by 500 meter walk but then I get bored of the walk before it is time to run again. what can I say? I am impatient.

You can try and make it fun. I never did the zombie running app thing. I do fartlek sometimes so I can sprint when I want.

Keep going, you're smashing your training at the moment and getting stronger every day.

My wife and I had a couple of late nights lately, so we skipped working out the past two days. I have a feeling I will more than make up for it over the weekend!

This work challenge gives me an incentive to log more, but I won't put it all on Hive. Not that the prizes are that special. Hope your weather is improving.

It's getting there yes!

Here too a bit colder and rainy!

We've not had any rain today, so it's not so bad
